On 10 December 2025, the .UZ Domain Administration took part in the third meeting of the multistakeholder advisory council dedicated to assessing Uzbekistan’s internet landscape based on UNESCO’s Internet Universality Indicators (IUIs). The event was held at the Mercure Hotel in Tashkent and brought together representatives of government bodies, international organizations, expert communities, and industry participants.

As part of the memorandum of cooperation between the administrators of the .UZ (UZINFOCOM) and .KZ (KazNIC) domain zones, a new root DNS server for the “.UZ” domain has begun operation, featuring both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and located in Kazakhstan.

On September 25–26, 2025, the Fourth Central Asia Peering and Interconnection Forum (CAPIF 4) was held in Almaty — one of the key events for the region’s internet industry. The forum was organized by RIPE NCC with the support of the Internet Association of Kazakhstan and the Kazakhstan Association of Communication Operators.

The Administration of the national domain .UZ has introduced a new convenient feature for domain auction users. Now, anyone can submit a request to put a deleted domain name, assigned the status of “Auction,” up for bidding through a special online form. Previously, this required contacting the call center, but now the process has become as simple and fast as possible — all it takes is filling out the form on the website. Once the request is received, the Administration’s specialists review it and place the specified domain in the auction.

The Administration of the national domain .UZ is presenting the innovative Token.uz project within the framework of ICTWEEK UZBEKISTAN 2025, which is taking place in Tashkent.

Hong Kong hosted the prestigious Asian hackathon “Coding4Integrity”, dedicated to developing IT solutions in the field of anti-corruption. The event brought together young specialists from different countries, all striving for the digital transformation of anti-corruption processes.

On the second day of the international TLDCON 2025 conference, representatives of the .UZ national domain administration announced that the next, 19th Conference of Administrators and Registrars of Country Code Top-Level Domains of the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe — TLDCON 2026 — will take place in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

On September 15–16, 2025, the 18th International Conference for Administrators and Registrars of Country Code Top-Level Domains of the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe — TLDCON 2025 — is taking place in Kaliningrad. The event is organized by the Coordination Center for TLDs.
